Educational sessions begin earlier in the day. In the expo hall, on Wed., Nov. 28, 2-3 p.m., at the CE Learning Zone, Tubelite’s architectural specification manager, Doug Dietrich will present: “Storefront or Curtain Wall – Seeing through the difference.” Participants can earn 1.0 Learning Units (1.0 LU) for Health, Safety and Welfare (HSW) for this AIA-approved Continuing Education System (AIA/CES) course.
Tubelite’s course includes a basic review of storefront and curtain wall glazing systems, and examines the industry standards and performance attributes to consider when selecting the appropriate system for a specific site. Attendees will learn how to select between storefront and curtainwall systems for commercial applications as they relate to occupant safety, environmental factors, system performance attributes, system limitations and proper product installation. Indoor environmental quality (IEQ), human health and safety and energy-saving thermal performance will be discussed. Registration for the course, code LZ03, is required.
Those unable to attend the session at ABX may contact Tubelite’s architectural sales consultants to learn more about this and other in-person presentations.
