Tubelite’s new, live, online Customer Training Series begins July 16, 10 a.m. EDT, with senior technical trainer Ron Schaaf. For flexibility with customers’ schedules, each session’s topic will be repeated twice. All require registration, start at 10 a.m., and are limited to customers or by special invitation.

Doug DietrichRegister to attend Tubelite Inc.’s free, digital learning seminar, “Storefront or Curtainwall: Seeing Through the Difference,” presented live on July 16, 3-4 p.m. CDT.

This introductory-level course is recognized by the American Institute of Architects’ Continuing Education Services (AIA/CES). Participants who complete the one-hour session will earn 1.0 Learning Unit (1 HSW LU) toward their AIA health, safety and welfare professional development credits.

Architectural specification manager, Doug Dietrich, will guide participants through storefront and curtainwall systems selection criteria for commercial applications as they relate to:

  • Occupant safety
  • Environmental factors
  • Performance attributes and limitations
  • Proper installation for indoor environmental quality, human health and safety.

In addition, the coursework examines storefront and curtainwall advancements in energy-saving thermal performance.

This AIA/CES course is presented as part of an Architectural Design Solution educational series offered by Tubelite’s parent company, Apogee Enterprises, Inc. Registration for the July 16 session includes another 1 LU course, “Architectural Coatings: Weathering Performance and Application” by Linetec.

ABX, Nov. 6-7, Boston

Tubelite will be in booth #866 at the Boston Society of Architects/American Institute of Architects (AIA) ABX2019. The Boston Convention and Exhibition Center’s expo hall will be open on both Nov. 6-7.

The largest building industry event in the Northeast, ABX has welcomed more than 7,000 architects, engineers, builders and other industry professionals to its conference.

ALA Midwest Architecture Conference, Oct. 29, Oakbrook Terrace, IL

Tubelite returns to the Association of Licensed Architects (ALA) Midwest Architecture Conference. This year’s event will be held Oct. 29 at the Drury Lane Conference Center in Oakbrook Terrace, just outside of Chicago.

Representatives from Tubelite will be in booth #504 in the expo hall. The floor is open from 10 a.m.-3:45 p.m.

Attendees can earn 1.0 continuing education learning units (LUs) for their time with conference exhibitors. A total of up to 6.0 LUs are available for those attending the conference keynote and educational sessions.

AIA Winston-Salem, Lunch & Learn, Oct. 22

As part of American Institute of Architects (AIA) Winston-Salem’s Lunch & Learn series, Tubelite presents “Storefront or Curtainwall: Seeing through the Difference,” Oct. 22, 12-1 p.m., at Footnote Coffee & Cocktails, 634 West 4th St., Suite 120, Winston-Salem, NC 27101.

Those who participate in this one-hour, in-person educational presentation can earn 1.0 Learning Unit (LU). The course includes a basic review of storefront and curtain wall glazing systems. The program will examine industry standards and performance attributes for commercial glazing systems, enabling the design professional to select the appropriate product for their next product. Course participants will have a basic understanding of storefront and curtain wall, seeing through the difference and determining the proper product application based on system performance attributes and installation in terms of environmental quality, human health and safety.

CSI CONSTRUCT, Oct. 9-11, Maryland

Held at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in National Harbor, Maryland, the event’s educational sessions and networking events are held Oct. 9-11.

The exhibit hall will be in Prince George’s ABC, and will be open on Oct. 10, 9 a.m.-3 p.m, and Oct. 11, 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m.

CSI Indy Trade Show, Oct. 3, Indianapolis

AIA Wisconsin, May 8-9, Madison

Hillesheim Architectural Products will be representing Tubelite’s products in booth #C70 at the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Wisconsin’s Conference on Architecture, May 8-9, at Monona Terrace in Madison.

The expo hall will host more than 140 displays of the latest technology, application, product and service information for architects and other design and construction industry leaders to implement in their current and future projects. Exhibit hours are Wed., 1:30-4:30 p.m. and Thurs., 11 a.m.-2 p.m.

CSI North Central Region, May 3, St. Louis

Tubelite will be exhibiting in booth #D01 at the Construction Specification Institute (CSI) North Central Regional Conference‘s Product Expo on May 3 at Chase Park Plaza in St. Louis. The Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) of Little Rock hosts its annual golf tournament on April 26 at Country Club of Arkansas in Maumelle. Tubelite will be a sponsoring a golf hole and client development manager John Wiemer will be participating in the event.

CSI WMD+C, April 17, Grand Rapids, MI

Tubelite’s client development manager, Dan Goodman, will be exhibiting in Section 4, Row A, at the West Michigan Design and Construction Expo (WMD+C), April 17, 12:30-7:30 p.m.
Hosted by the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) Grand Rapids chapter, WMD+C is considered West Michigan’s largest commercial construction trade show highlighting the latest in technology, innovations, educational seminars, networking and new business opportunities.
The event takes place at The Pinnacle Center in Hudsonville, Michigan. Food and refreshments will be available.

AIA Montana/BAA, April 11-13, Billings, MT

The Billings Architectural Association (BAA), a section of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Montana Chapter, hosts its annual Meeting in the Mountains, April 11-13, at the Northern Hotel.

Tubelite’s regional sales manager Terry Robinholt and client development manager Cameron Shooltz will be exhibiting on April 12, 7:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m., in booth #25.

Keynote speakers, social networking and the Celebrate Architecture Competition Awards banquet also are scheduled on April 12. CEU presentations are offered on April 11 and 13.

Rocky Mountain Green, April 10-12, Denver

Hosted by the U.S. Green Building Council’s Colorado chapter, this 12th annual conference will be held April 10-12 at the Embassy Suites by Hilton in downtown Denver. In addition to the tabletop exhibits on Thursday, the three-day event offers educational sessions, speakers, workshops and tours. Participants in the conference’s activities may be eligible for LEED/GBCI and AIA continuing education credits.

The National Fenestration Rating Council (NFRC) hosts its annual Spring Committee Meeting on March 25-27 at the Royal Sonesta Harbor Court in Baltimore.

John Kolbeck, Product Development Engineer III, will be representing Tubelite and Apogee Enterprises, Inc. as a participating member. Kolbeck was among the first certified by NFRC to use the Component Modeling Approach software tool (CMAST) for a Manufacturer Approved Calculation Entity (ACE) Organization.
Celebrating its 30th anniversary, the NFRC is committed to advancing continuous improvement of windows, doors, and skylights, contributing to making buildings more comfortable and energy efficient. CSI Kansas City Product Show, Feb. 7
